Lloyd B. Richardson entered the insurance industry in 1976. Following captive agent associations with several larger national life and health insurance carriers, Lloyd founded the Lloyd B. Richardson Insurance Agency in 1984 with offices currently on Papermill Road in Knoxville. He serves in the capacity of a consultant/broker for many East Tennessee businesses with a strong emphasis in the employee benefits market. He is a member of the National Tennessee and Knoxville Associations of Life Insurance and Financial Advisors and is a multi-year recipient of the Million Dollar Round Table designation. He is a multiple winner of the National Sales Achievement Award and the National Quality Award. In addition, he has received on an annual basis the "Leaders Club" recognition from various insurance carriers he represents.
